Day #4

It's hard to believe its already been 4 days! It has been so incredible that the time has absolutely flown by. God has been doing some amazing things in the lives of the people we have been ministering to as well as amazing things in our own lives.

Today we started the day with breakfast at 7 again. My favorite part of breakfast is the African tea. After breakfast we went back to the orphanage to paint what will eventually become the kitchen/eating area for the primary school. We worked from about 9 am - 2 pm and painted 2 coats after first sanding the walls. After we cleaned up, the kids came out and followed us around to the bus. We got to spend about 10 minutes there playing with them. It was so much fun. After 5 hours of painting, these 10 short minutes with the kids lifted all our spirits in order to be ready for the rest of the day. The kids have so much joy and happiness and its been such a blessing to get to spend time with them.

After another fantastic lunch by Benson, chicken filled with cheese, fruit, and "chips", we headed out for some more door to door evangelism. There were fewer translators this time, so a few of us went in pairs as opposed to by ourselves like yesterday. Thomas and I visited 4 different homes, 2 of which entire families gave their lives to Christ, and at another home a college aged guy gave his life to Christ as well! Praise God! I know that other guys from our team had similar experiences. God is working is some pretty crazy ways!

Tomorrow we are going to different churches around Jinja, but I won't spoil everything, I will let whoever blogs tomorrow tell you all about it!

I just want to thank everyone that is praying for this trip, you are a blessing and are helping God's efforts on this trip just as much as anyone here. We are almost halfway through the trip and can't wait for what God has in store for the second half of it. We look forward to returning to share with everyone what God has done!

In His Service,

Kyle Bruner
